Very welcoming staff, clean and comfortable room, unstable wifi.
The 5€ international breakfast was good, but don't expect a great variety of fresh fruits. Children under 12 stay free of charge for extra beds and also breakfast.
If you're planning to visit the Knossos Palace, there's a frequent local bus (Blue, #2, every 20 min) that starts down by the port and stops by very close to the hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back of the hotel are quieter

Nice friendly hotel near the centre of Heraklion. Very smart and clean with new bathrooms. Continental breakfast in the breakfast area or outside. Only 2 miles (3km) from the airport and there is parking on the road.

We booked this very nice 3 star for our last night on Crete due to its proximity to the airport and favorable ratings here on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. The reception personnel were over-the-top helpful with directions, dining recommendation, printing boarding passes, etc. The room was spotless and had a very high-tech Carrier air conditioning unit. Beds were comfy as well. Only knock was there is some noise in the hallways and other floors due to the marble/tile floors that are common to the area which can amplify door closing sounds. That subsided with reduced traffic as the evening went on and was not a deterrent to sleep.

If you’ve had enough wonderful Cretan cuisine and just want a quick bite, take the man at the desk’s advice and head to Hovil for the biggest, perfectly prepared gyro on the island.

OVERALL -> i very much recommend this hotel for quality/price value, location, services and customer service.

Rooms -> Very comfortable bed, luminous and spacious room, shower with glass door + curtain (half door/half curtain - this is a very good compromise compared to most places in Greece). Cleaning -> excellent standard and toiletries always available. Internet -> perfect, no issues whatsoever. Staff -> everyone was polite, but a special mention goes to Miltos for his exquisite manners, awesome advise to visit around and the very interesting conversations about life in the island. Location -> quiet area but within a walking distance to the city/bus station/ bus to airport.

Room -> very thin doors so you can hear all moves happening outside the room - for light sleepers, earplugs are a must. Breakfast -> if you like a continental breakfast (mostly sweet), there is not that much of a choice.

We spent 4 nights in the hotel and mostly used it as a base for exploring the region. The room was a bit small and a bit dated, but it had a big TV and a big fridge. The bed could be better, but we were always tired and slept well. The room also had a balcony but was really unpractical, too narrow (maxbe 30cm) and few meters long. The bathroom was nice with a big shower. The room was really quiet, no noise from the street, apart from some strange noises at night time coming somewhere from the hotel. Breakfast was OK, but only usual butter and jams and cereals a d yoghurt. Fruits were already gone by the time we got to breakfast :) .
The Hotel doesnt have its own parking so you need some luck to find it in the street in front of the hotel or around.
The staff, especially the receptionists, were super nice and friendly. The hotel is located about 10 mins walk from the center, which is good if you want to use it as a base for exploring the region with a car.
The price was good, so would rate this as good value for money.
