“Small and quiet”
Review of Havanias Beach

Havanias Beach
Reviewed 3 weeks ago via mobile

It is mainly a stony beach and i was happy to sit away from the softer sanded bit where the sunbeds are. There are facilities, parking and a bar. I did stop for a salad and wine. All served in plastic so easy to take to the beach. Excellent greek salad. Watch the tide as i just missed my stuff getting drenched! I will be going back during my stay.

Basic facilities including beach bar , sun loungers, toilets (bring your own paper) and parking. Water is clean and generally quite calm, depending on wind direction. However beach itself has pebbles/rocks and water does have a fringe of pebbles/stones before it drops off quite steeply. Ideal for swimming but great fro ball games.
Olga Taverna is just across the road if you wanted a more substantial meal than the beach bar offers.

It is a small and calm beach with the off-road parking and very poor facilities (ex small toilet, no soap/paper etc). Rocky-sandy beach, not plesant for little ones. Water looks very nice and clean BUT our little one (3yo) gotten caught in a fishing line with hook in the water. Also in the end we noticed that a lost big dog as been walking around without an owner every evening for 1 month.

Yes its a nice beach. There is parking just off the main road. Nice beach - bit pebbly but thats normal. Good snorkeling!
We took food but there is a taverna across the road which is not to bad price wise.
Not many tourists here!

This small beach on the Road to Eloisa is a calm, chilled and relatively un-commercialised spot to read, sunbathe and relax.

It has a small café, toilets and a small sandy (but pebbly) beach area. It hasn't seemed overcrowded at any point during our trip. Two loungers and an umbrella cost €7 per day to hire, which is reasonable, and the beach itself has much more character and natural charm than some of the others in the area.

The music pumping out of the café can be a little loud, but that's just me being a boring bookworm. The area is kept clean and it's just a nice place to get lost in your own thoughts for the day.

Recommended if you're staying in the area or want a peaceful, respectful place to catch the sun.
