Book in advance, especially in the summer; it is usually hard to book less than two days in advance.
This is a great cooking activity in a small group, with a traditional Greek cook. The class is held at Diavlos restaurant, located in the historical center of Athens, close to the Acropolis.
The cooking instructor and her assistant are professional, friendly and courteous and made us feel welcome.
The cooking instructions were clear and we got to hear history bits about the origins of the foods we were cooking and some tips on Greek cuisine.
We sampled some of the food as it became ready and then enjoyed the four course dinner on the terrace as the sun was setting.
I don’t usually cook much but I plan to cook these meals as often as I can -
