Our family of 3 had a two days trip to Delphi and Meteora with Sakis and he was just wonderful. We had to admit we didn't know much about Delphi except for the little bit we read from the Greek Mythology. We wanted to go there for a surprise lunch with our daughter who was doing some archaeology digging there. Alright, we missed her but Sakis made this visit very interesting with his vast knowledge of the Delphic oracle. He also gave us extra stops at Chaeronea village to see the Lion of Chaeronea and Laconia to visit the exact place where the 300 Spartans fought the famous Battle of Thermopylae with tons of stories. Our visit to the Monasteries in Meteora was made perfect because of his extra effort to plan the timing ahead, gave us a local phone to keep in touch with him whenever we were not with him, checked with locals about places to visit that only locals would know and not to say bring us deserts that were not available in local restaurants. Sakis also did something very special - taking us to catch the most beautiful Meteora sunset at 8pm. We will be going back to this region for sure and definitely will be asking for Sakis again.
