My wife and I were walking from our hotel in Plaka toward Monastiraki Square, looking for a taverna with live music. Along the way we "stumbled" onto this great place. We heard the music before we saw the taverna - a bouzouki and guitar duo. We quickly got a table in the courtyard and settled in. We split a bottle of Greek wine - our first & were surprised to find it very good. Our food was excellent. My wife had an entree size of grilled vegetables (eggplant, zucchini, peppers, tomatoes) and I had the braised lamb with potatoes in lemon sauce. The music was a lot of fun - mostly traditional folk music, but with some cool interpretations ot Simon & Garfunkel and others.
This is a great place & I highly recommend it!
