“Little Haven is recommended”

We has a good week at Glen mar and were fortunate to have good weather. The description is accurate - the flat is well-appointed and the facilities are as described. It is just a few hundred metres from the centre of Little Haven, and so is in an excellent location. There are a couple of things people should consider when booking. We recommend the place. But access is up some fairly steep stairs to the first floor and I think people who are frail or have limited mobility might struggle, particularly if they have heavy luggage. Also, the flat is at the back of the house which means that there is no 'view' - indeed the main window in the dining/living area looks out on to a 45 degree bank about two metres away. We are were out and about for the week and this did not matter, but I think if the weather had not been so kind we might have found it a bit closed-in. And the other issue was that the neither ourselves or the people in the next flat could get the washing machine that is shared by the four flats in the property to work properly. Frustrating rather than disastrous, but it made washing a drying clothes a challenge.

Liked best: Very near to Little Haven itself - easy walking distance.
Liked least: At the back of the property and so no 'view'.

“Superb apartment, in lovely little cove of paradise”
Reviewed 30 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Wow, what a lovely apartment, set in the lovely tiny village of Little Haven - and yes it is little. But with 3 local pubs and a cafe, its well worth the visit. We stayed for 4 nights and went to the Castle pub one evening for dinner, seemed pricey at first but the portion sizes were amazing! Local recommended day trips include Skomer Island to see the Puffins, Milford Haven and St Davids (Cathedral City!) Chris, the owner was good to communicate with before and after the stay, refunding us the full deposit promptly. Would recommend and stay again. Thanks :-)

“Great base for a great holiday”
Reviewed 23 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

This was a clean roomy apartment, located in a lovely village. It is well served by 3 very good pubs. A good base for our first holiday to Pembrokeshire. The walks along the coastal path are ablaze with colourful flowers this time of year. Good place for a visit to Skomar Island where you get right up close and personal to Puffins.

“good location but you don't want any problems”

There are no lights outside so finding the entrance and keysafe was tricky on a dark night. Nice small holiday let, does the job - but be prepared: there might not be any help if you experience problems. No assistance was offered when asked for as no lights working in bathroom, so had to get camping torch out. Had to clean bugs off carpets when arrived but otherwise good ambience. Have suggested to owner improvement needed.
