The front gates and the driveway hint at something special. We were not disappointed! After a friendly introduction from Margarita (including incredibly useful and detailed written information about routes and the local area), we were taken to our apartment for two with a terrace. The accommodation is very well equipped and comfortable and we thoroughly appreciated the daily cleaning service. The walk to the beautiful swimming pool takes only minutes and you can then enjoy lovely views of the gorgeous old house, the surrounding countryside and the vineyards. We will certainly return.

We had a fantastic stay in these converted outbuildings in May 2016 - they are within easy reach of the coast and some stunning walking areas and just a couple of kilometers from a large supermarket. We stayed in the individual apartment with a large terrace, that had very comfortable sofas and a table and chairs. The interior was beautifully kitted out with a small kitchen, smart bathroom and stylish bedroom. Everything we needed for a self catering holiday. Margarida was delightful and extremely helpful, even booking a lovely restaurant for us on our first night, as it was our 30th wedding anniversary! We would highly recommend Casa do Monte Roques.

It is a great place with beautiful scenery, very friendly and helpful staff and an excellent service with dailly cleaness and breakfast delivered in a basket. We had a relaxing time by the pool with view of the vineyards, village and mountains. Highly recommended.
