These are small, very quiet, serviced, rural apartments surrounded by vineyards. Recently built. In excellent condition. Well equiped. Impeccably clean.

As a group of six people, we stayed for a week at the end of September-beginning of October at this amazing place. It's a very beautiful setting, surrounded by vineyards, calm and quiet. The owner, Margarita, made sure that all of our needs were attended to. The rooms were cleaned daily. Kitchens were fully equipped if you wanted to prepare a meal. The breakfast basket for two was enough to feed four people.
When you are looking for a very calm and quit holiday home, this is the place to be. The studio was very cosy and comfortable.On the large terrace with lounge furniture we could take breakfast and spend many hours. The hostess Madalena was very friendly and helpfull.
A narrow street in cobbeystones brings you to Casa do monte de Roques where the charming owner was waiting on us. Very helpful and speaking French and English she was there at the right moments during our stay. The property is a renovated building where the architects kept the old charm but added the typical modernistic Portuguese architecture, with attention to details. The swimming pool, just 200 m up the hill next to the owners beautiful mansion has an incredibele view on flowers and vineyards and the North Portuguese rough landscape. The place offers you the hotel service with breakfast and daily roomservice but also has a complete equipped kitchen if you want to prepare a meal or keep cold a good bottle of Vino Verde to enjoy on the apartments terrace with sunset.
Our hostess was incredibly attentive and helpful. She made our stay even more enjoyable. The accommodation was elegantly decorated to a very high standard and was very clean and private. The pool is fabulous and looks like it was pulled out of a magazine writing about the rich and famous with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
