We have paid the tourist tax at the arrival, and the check out we had to pay again, because they didn't give any bill about the tax payment, and the receptionist denied. In addition they were not helpful and friendly.

Went in a group of 10. Not a very friendly welcome, receptionist looked as if he didn't want to be there. Room was on the front of the hotel, was like Brands Hatch with traffic all night. We asked to change to a quieter room, which we did without problem. Breakfast continental - bread rolls, cheese, ham and fruit, tea and coffee. About 20-25 minutes walk into town, not really suitable for people with walking difficulties but there's a bus stop nearby. Day reception is very helpful and gave us a map which he marked with all the places of interest. Loved Porto, very interesting. Lovely beach, very clean. Had a sail down the Duoro, weather not too good but thoroughly enjoyable with great scenery. €55 for a full day including continental breakfast, lunch with choice of main course and a choice of red or white wine and soft drinks. There is a cake shop next to hotel which serve meals, we used this quite a lot. There are also shops and restaurants nearby. A good holiday, would go back.

No frills hotel, cheap in high season, a short Uber ride from where the action is at. The rooms are very dated but clean, breakfast is below par, but you get hot water to shower with. It also has a temperature controller.

We stayed here for business reason in high season for fantastic price, unbeatable by any similar hotel in Porto. It's truly basic yet if you don't mind being little bit further from the center - but not too much as Boavista square and few shopping malls are just next to it - it might be an optimal solution for staying in Porto whatever reason one has.
The room is small and limited in many ways, yet one honesty don't need more in the town living outside all day and night long, especially during summer.
Breakfast really poor but so many options just around the corner. :)

Not a single hot shower for almost everyday we where there. No fridge in the room. No toothpaste. Wifi is ok.
The staff is very very nice except one guy that is sometimes there in the morning and looks angry.
