This place is amazing. One of the best hole-in-the-walls I’ve ever been to. Family owned and operated; Pedro is the owner. There is no menu. Our interaction went like this:
Pedro: “What would you like?”
Me: “What do you have?”
Pedro: “What are you in the mood for?”
Me: “I don’t know, what do you recommend?”
Pedro: “I’ll bring you something.”
Everything he brought us was incredible. The Fish soup was amazing. The calamari was grilled in a sauce that was unlike anything I have ever had. The beef steak was so good they only served it with a butter knife. The steak also came with homemade potato chips! If we ever come back to Porto, we are coming here first.
