Really enjoyed our visit to Golden Residence. We stayed bed and breakfast. There was an excellent selection. Friendly staff and good service. The highlight was the hotel cat called Oscar. Would be happy to return.More
We stayed at the Golden Residence for a week, its location is stunning , we thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ evening by the pool- great selection of meats and salads and great value for a family of 4 as we took advantage of the hotel offer of 4 meals for the price of 3. We recommend the paradise cocktails at the poolside bar too!!! It was our first visit to Madeira and we loved it. The rooms are well equipped and the fridge in the room a great feature.

Had a fantastic holiday staying in the golden residence hotel .the staff where excellent from reception to the waiters coudnt fault it . Bus stop right outside hotel ideal to go to funchal or the fishing village the other way .

Great place to stay! Very sweet staff especially the reception manager. She helped us upgrade our room when we wanted to and gave us the most amazing view! The rooms were nice and clean and we had an amazing time. Love to go back one day!

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The staff are very professional and friendly.
We had breakfast like royalty with access to the spa and gym.
My daughter totally loved her experience. We just got back but are already planning a return trip,

This was our first trip to Madeira and it was wonderful. This hotel, along with the staff, did a great job making us feel at home. Location is superb, right across the street from the bus stop that takes you into downtown. The morning breakfast was outstanding, everything on the menu you could think of and done perfectly. One night we sat out overlooking the Atlantic ocean with a couple of glasses of wine. Already planning a return trip!
