Straight from the airport, the aerobus stops almost right outside the hotel (stop 8), super convenient. If you are walking, walk up the small hillside to the right. It looks like a back-way, but is actually the foot path. You can then walk on a small trail next to the car lane up to reception.

I was greeted by a sweet woman there, checked in quickly. Wonderful and clean room, stunning view and local refreshments. The pool area is nice, there are pool towels in reception (1 for free, change is €1).

I was somewhat disappointed with the breakfast, much to choose from but it wasn’t really high quality food (e.g. Canned fruit instead of fresh). There was a chef preparing fresh omelettes, these were nice, but he skipped me in line and ignored me, which seemed very odd. Maybe a coincidence, but it was very awkward.

It was easy to walk by foot to city centre (there are also free shuttle busses though, but I didn’t use these), so the location was very fine. I used the luggage storage upon my departure, as I was going for a trip mid-day. I was happy this was possible. I would have been even more pleased if the luggage storage was locked or under supervision, but it was free of charge and my belogings were there when I came back, so all good.

Dear Mrs Tine,

Thank you for taking your time to share with us your experience of your recent stay at the Four Views Baia.

We are glad to know that you had a pleasant stay, and that you have enjoyed our service as well as the comfort of your room, and great location with stunning views which are in fact great assets of our Hotel.

Regarding your recommendations about our breakfast, which we apreciate, we would like to clarify that in fact we only use some canned fruit as a lot of our guests enjoy it but we have besides fresh fruit salad, daily 3 variites of fresh fruit, perhaps you did not notice but then again it could have been a coincidence.
Concerning our luggage storage, we have a surveillance system in the luggage room, you may not have noticed here but there are surveillance cameras in the room where you left your bag.

We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to the Four Views Baia on a future occasion and delivering to you the professional and friendly costumer that so many of our guests have experienced and continue to enjoy at Four Views Baia.

Yours sincerely,

Lidia Ascensão - Guest Relations

No air condition in function at our room, and with the door open you can't even relax or sleep well because of all the barking dogs that BARKS ALL DAY AND NIGHT!
The room was clean and room service okay, but there is nothing in the minibar and no option to buy cold refreshment at the hotel - besides in the hotel bar, so I recomend to shop refreshment at the supermarked at the shopping mall before returning to the hotel.
Spa was nice, remember to order spa treatment early before it's full.
Good breakfast, both warm and cold.
Shuttle bus thakes you down to CR7 museum, but there is not too many depature times, so we often walked.
The dinner option at the hotel is a very loud buffét.
Friendly staff at the reception, but the lady in the hotel shop was missing several times so we could'nt always buy the things we needed because of that.

Dear Mrs. Camilla

Thank you for taking your time to write us a review of your recent stay at the Four Views Baía.

We would like to thank you for your highlight on the service and our delicious breakfast plenty of choices for all tastes and diets. We are pleased to know that you also appreciated the relaxing facilities of our SPA. We are very pleased to know that you had a nice stay with us, as we were able to understand by your classification. However we regret not being able to receive from you this time the maximum rating, as we would wish, we realized that if the window is open you will eventually hear some noise from outside, but if you close the window you will not hear any sound from the extreior once all our rooms are double glazed and areonorized. We also have an air conditioning system in all of our rooms, in the impossibility of using it correctly, as soon we are informed, during your stay we would be happy to help you.

We hope to be your choice in the near future, I will be more than happy to assist you in a future reservation, meeting all your preferences.

Thank you for your recomendations, we look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

Yours sincerely,

Lídia Ascensão - Guest Relations

We stayed here for a week.
Everything was very nice! Outside pool was little chilly but if we finns cut holes through ice in winter so we can swim then the Baias pool was warm :)
Spa was also very nice with little extra payment we got heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, different showers and even snow!
Reception was also friendly answering our questions. And cleaning also was also good.
Recommended!
New visitors remember the easiest way down to city centre is through the parking lot from floor 0!

Hotel staff great, rooms very comfortable and always cleaned well. Hot Breakfast food from the servery always. only warm, even eggs that came sstraight from the kitchen, except for omelets that were cooked to order. Fruit juices best to be avoided. Watery and unpleasant. Other choices from this chill counters were good and varied daily. Must mention the fantastic bread selection, warm from the oven.

Having done a lot of research on the area/hotels before booking, we were very pleased to have picked this one. The front of the hotel has a great sea view over Funchal. There is traffic noise from the road below but not enough in my opinion to stop you relaxing. It's a 10 minute walk to the shopping centre and 15 minutes to the beachfront. Our room was spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchen, and all the staff we encountered were pleasant :)
