This is a Beautiful resort! A friend had stayed last year and recommended it. It sits high on a cliff with an amazing view of the Ocean and Funchal. The rooms are large, and very comfortable with large balconies. The food was excellent especially the large breakfast buffet. We never had an issue with trying to find chairs by any of the pools. There is a large platform to dive into the ocean and an attendant to help and watch over swimmers. The Hotel staff, waiters, and room attendants all work hard to make sure your stay is perfect. You can walk into town or to any of the many restaurants in the area. Bell staff is also great helping with luggage and getting a taxi for you. On our first day we hired a driver for the 6 of us to take us to the sunrise ontop of mountain, it was amazing. We ended up hiring him for the next few days to take us all around, Thank you Padro!! There is so much to see in Madeira, next trip we will stay longer.

The Hotel was perfect for us, and the staff were incredibly helpful, polite and courteous. The food and choice were beautiful and we enjoyed all our meals, very much. Funchal and Maderia, you have to enjoy ups and downs as its a very hilly place but that didn't bother us, kept us fit

Book early as it gets booked up very quickly, Last time I tried to stay they were fully booked so ended up at Reids, glad to be back for this holiday !!
