One doesn't have to go far to come across a church in Portugal and it can be easy to pass them by. This church isn't especially inspiring, but it does contain a very nice altarpiece, so it's worth a few moments of your time to stop in and appreciate it.

una chiesa molto bella ora sconsacrata ed usata come libreria. merita di essere visitata dopo aver camminato per le vie in salita del paese

a very beautiful church now deconsecrated and used as a bookshop. deserves to be visited after walking through the uphill streets of the village

Located in the centre of the village this rather plain looking church has an interesting history. Some good telework is featured and the church also features a bookstore.

This church is rather plain except for the main altar made of hand-carved wood covered with gold leaf, one of only two things that survived the 1755 earthquake (the other survivor being the bell tower).
(P.S. there are lots of pictures posted here that are not from the Church of Saint Peter)
