My husband and I stayed in this lovely apartment with a group of friends, two other couples. The apartment was perfect for us because of the three bedrooms, we didn't want anyone sleeping in the living room (which is what is proposed in a lot of apartments advertised for 6) and this was the ideal solution. The apartment has been newly renovated with taste, we loved the style and really appreciated having a brand new, spotless, kitchen and bathroom. The host was fantastic, easy to communicate with, replied to our queries quickly and fully, and even arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport - this was a great service which we really recommend taking advantage of, it made arriving so easy. We absolutely loved the neighbourhood - the apartment is right in the heart of Lisbon at Baxia Chiado, and close to everything, including restaurants, old school cafes, great shopping, museums, beautiful old buildings and churches, the main plaza, etc. The Bica funicular runs up the next street, and in minutes you are down by the river and the newly renovated food market - definitely a must visit in Lisbon. We loved the orange tree lined street (apparently the street name means Avenue of the Orange Trees!), and the local vibe. All in all a great stay, and highly recommended. We will definitely stay again next time in Lisbon!
