We stayed here 8 nights and it was a terrific little apartment - very cute, cozy and bohemian. My daughter really enjoyed her bed in the attic with the great view all to herself. I had the lower bedroom - the bed was very comfortable. Since the window from my room faced the little square, I got a lot more noise - there is some sort of hostel (?) just across from the apartment. Very animated discussion would often carry on until 4AM. Fortunately I wasn't overly bothered as half the time I was just so tired after a full day of activities or day trips, that I would just pass out even with all the commotion. Other times I just slept in (the neighbourhood is very, very quiet until at least 9AM!)
The location of the apartment is fantastic - right in the middle of many, many restaurants and Fado bars. There are also several little grocery shops in the area, making it super easy to buy fresh bread for breakfast, as well as fruit.
The apartment is very close to the Santa Apolonia train station which has a metro connection (to the city AND to the airport), so communication was very smooth and easy.
Great place and I would stay here again anytime!!
