Very nice apartment it felt like we were in a big house. We will definitely come back. Lots of rooms for everyone. The market place was good too very busy in the evening, fresh vegetables, fresh fish. The ice cream was great must visit! Wine very cheap at least he supermarket across the road. My kids love the tv, when it too hot to go shopping. I will be back with my family xx

“Nicely appointed apartment in ideal location for first visit to Lisbon”

This apartment was perfect for our group of two families. The layout of the three bedrooms and two baths provided enough space to retreat for our party of six (4 adults, 2 kids aged 6 and 9), while the open dining room and kitchen invited us all to gather together over the table. For a week-long visit with children, it was nice to make our own breakfast and occasional meals, and the kitchen was well-stocked for our needs. (Mini-market just across the street.) The decor was tasteful, uncluttered, and soothing, the apartment bright with natural light. (Website photos are accurate.) The location on the square was ideal, mere minutes walk from the Metro station (and train station for day trips to Belem, Cascais), with the quaint Bica neighborhood (and its stairway and funicular) just down the street. We didn't feel like tourists here. Best of all (not just for the kids but adults, too), the gelato shop on the corner became our daily habit. (Check out Tripadvisor reviews for Gelato Deverro.) Finally, working with Filipa and Susana was a pleasure. They were prompt and professional as we planned the trip, helpful with suggestions once we arrived. (A little delay with the return of our security deposit, but it was eventually resolved.) One scheduling note: we arrived before a long holiday weekend (that included Lisbon's Feast of St. Anthony, a major event), so the square and streets below the apartment were lively (and noisy) for Friday and Saturday nights. (Ear plugs helped for sleeping.) But it quieted down for the rest of the week. Loved Lisbon, would love to make a return visit and stay here again!

“As good as all the reviews suggest”
Reviewed 4 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Fantastic apartment, fantastic location. Very well presented and furnished, superbly clean. Great organisation upon arrival and departure, made to feel very welcome. The only down side as some other reviewers have suggested is the noise late at night. But you are in a lively part of town and there is a party atmosphere especially at weekends. Some great restaurants nearby and fantastic location to connect with various public transport options.

“Beautiful, well positioned apartment”
Reviewed 11 June 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Second stay here, first time with extended family including a small child & with friends this time. The apartment worked well for both visits. It is well positioned, near public transport, plenty of bars & restaurants nearby. In fact even more this time & don't miss the excellent icecream shop on the square.
Easy to walk into the centre too.
It can be a little noisy at night as the Portuguese like to party so earplugs may be useful.
Suzanne met us there when we arrived very late at night , let us leave our luggage when departing & arranged a taxi for us too.
Slight lack of communication with the office once I'd booked but gentle reminders mostly worked.
Would definitely recommend.

“Spacious and elegant”

The apartment really is as lovely as it looks in the photos.
It is like walking into your ideal home. Beautifully decorated and furnished.

There were four of us and we could spread out in the three bedrooms, two bathrooms, large dining room and sunny lounge. The showers are monsoon style and a treat in themselves!
There is a washing machine and dryer so if travelling with only cabin luggage to get the cheapest flight...this is very useful. Kitchen is fully equipped BUT we found that the price and size of meals in Lisbon meant that we never got round to cooking.

The location is fabulous in many ways. It is a minute's walk from the Ribiera Market...part of this is a trendy and buzzing food hall and part is a traditional food market. One minute further and you reach the Cais do Sodre transport hub which is especially useful for visiting Belem, Cascais and the statue of Christ across the water.
A 5 minute walk up hill and you get to the shops of the town centre and a 10 minute flat walk gets you to Praca Commercio.
The square the apartment is located upon is a lovely one. The lounge windows face the beautiful church of Sao Paolo and the ordinary life of people passing through. It should also be noted that this square is on the edge of one of the hippest party streets in Lisbon...so it won't be the quietest of locations throughout the night...or of course, you might join in and won't need a taxi home! The Italian ice cream cafe within sight of the flat is fantastic...very cool decor to accompany delicious ice cream with some innovative flavours. The mini market to the other side is a great asset too. We stocked up on picnic food very cheaply here.

The flat was great value for us and would be a bargain for a larger group...there is sleeping space for 10...though this would feel crowded I think.
