We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay at Casa Balthazar. The property is charming and the moment you walk through the doors you feel transported into a relaxing space. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. Each morning, a breakfast of fresh fruit, pastries, ham/cheese, and rolls were delivered to our room. We weren't able to eat it all! We loved coming "home" each afternoon after a day of walking the hills of Lisbon to sit by the pool and rest a bit before going out to dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants close by. The staff is lovely and helpful. Casa Balthazar is wonderful place and we highly recommend it!

Far exceeded my expectations. Huge apartment size suite with luxury furnishings, large modern full bath, excellent bed, closet space, and even espresso machine. The secure compound includes beautiful common spaces and cozy pool area. Complemented by outstanding staff that were there in a moment's call, arranged transport, and also got us good seats at a local fado dinner show.

For our first time to visit Lisbon, we chose Casa Balthazar and could not have made a better choice. This property has a wonderful location being in the heart of the city - easy to walk to restaurants, shopping, parks, plazas, cafes, you name it. The property is beautiful, our room had a great view overlooking the city and castle. Very comfortable, with tasteful furnishings, in the room and throughout the property. As important, the staff was most helpful to arrange/recommend private tours of the city and to visit Sintra. I would absolutely stay here again!
