My husband reviewed this hotel yesterday just after we arrived as we were not happy with the outcome after we complained about certain things we were unhappy with in the room. This morning he got a call from the manager Tiago and after meeting with him and explaining the reasons for our complaints he personally made sure that all the issues were rectified immediately. He was very helpful and professional and our room is now perfect and the air conditioning excellent. I am sure that we will now have a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We are a family of 6 and loving Lisbon and the location of the hotel. The staff are also very friendly.

We stayed for 4 nights. The locations was ideal: lovely view from our terrace of the waterfront, and easy walking to almost anywhere. The staff was very easy to work with. Especially impressive was the breakfast, artifacts available to view right in the hotel, and the pool/spa. The room itself was very updated, clean, and modern. The only thing that could be better is having taxi service ready and waiting at the hotel. We were advised to walk about 10 min down to the Comercial Plaza to find a taxi.

The hotel is very well situated, within walking distance of the places of interest and near the water front. The room was spotlessly clean, modern, well appointed and quiet. We had complimentary delicious pastries and chocolates. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with everything one could wish for. The staff were perfect, polite and helpful. It was an absolute pleasure staying there.

My family and I have just checked into this hotel and it looks like we'll regret it (3rooms). The room airconditioning does not work, our room temperature is 26.5 degrees centigrade. After contacting reception the bellhop came to check and could not provide an explanation nor a solution, so it would appear that we'll have a long night. The room window cannot even open for fresh air.
Our room appears to be ok but my wife complained that the bath still had a ring around it. Reception said they woul see that it gets cleaned, no such luck she had to clean the bath herself.
This so called five star does not even supply bottled drinking water in the room, not sure what they expect us to drink. In the bathroom you get one small round cake of soap for the entire bathroom.
This hotel is hopelessly overpriced and definately not five star. We've stayed in other hotels with a lower star rating that offer much more.

I stayed at the Eurostars hotel on a recent long weekend in Lisbon, it's in a great location, around a 20 minute drive from the airport and near all the main places to visit in Lisbon.
Nice touches were a complimentary drink and pastries on our first night in Lisbon.
The breakfast buffet is excellent, a really good spread that sets you up for the day ahead.
Reception staff were really helpful, they had great knowledge of the area and nothing was too much trouble, including booking restaurants for us.
In short a great hotel, i'll be back if i return to Lisbon.
