Don't bother looking at any other apartments - stay at this one. It is on the top floor (with lift) of a rennovated building in Principe Real. It is full of light (thanks to its MANY balconies), is incredibly clean and has everything you need (air con, full kitchen, beautiful bathroom, excellent wifi). The position is perfect. We have walked all over Lisbon and this area is where you will want to stay. What made our stay perfect was the genuinely warm welcome from Ana - she is lovely - which included freshly baked Portuguese tarts and port. She also provided advice about restaurants and shopping and even booked our taxi to the airport. Lisbon is a truly beautiful, grand and liveable city, and staying at this apartment made our visit perfect. I would return without hesitation.
We stayed for a couple of nights before the start of a biking holiday.
The apartment is on the top floor It has two bedrooms, multiple balconies, large lounge, separate large kitchen and all recently decorated to a high standard.
As our visit was winter the evenings cold get cold so the air conditioning that can be reversed to blow hot air was great.
The location is great, near lots of restaurants and cafes.
Comfortable bed and a good night's sleep. Perfect.
We would happily go back.
I travel a lot and I must say, that Ana and her apartment were the best ever. Location is superb - very close to Chiado or Bairro Alto clubs and best places to eat, viewpoints, shopping and yet in a very quiet, safe and truly local surrounding. About the apartment itself: it was perfectly clean, spacious, decorated with a very good taste and everything you need - iron, washer, dishwasher, 3 air conditioners and Nespresso machine. We had very good sleep there, the bedding was very comfortable. And the best part - the balconies and the terrace! You can see 360" almost up to Belem from there.
Ana was there waiting for us with freshly cooked pastels de nata and some port wine.
If you are looking for a perfect place to stay in Lisbon, go for Ana's place, you won't regret!
