We stayed at Hotel de Fatima when we made a Pilgrimage with our Church. The hotel itself was extremely nice. The room was spacious , bed was comfortable, bathroom was updated and again spacious, decor was very nice. The location was beyond exceptional. From our window we could see the sanctuary grounds. We crossed the street and were on the sacred property. At night we had our window open and could hear the music and sounds of the International Rosary and outdoor procession. There are beautiful souvenir shops very close by with items to take home reasonably priced. The hotel sells candles and protective holders for the night processions. We ate breakfast and dinner in the hotel in a room designated for groups but there is also a bar and restaurant area for individual travelers. The beautiful Portuguese tile and Cabbage wear dishes are for sale here also. I think it is the BEST place to stay while visiting Fatima.

I had a pleasant night's sleep here. It was clean and comfortable. The room's decor was nice, with artwork on the wall. Air conditioning was an individual unit that did the job very efficiently. Two quite narrow single beds had been pushed together. Wifi worked well.

The bathroom was well appointed, although the towels had clearly been in service for a while — they were fairly hard. There were no face washers, so I resorted to using a hand towel.

We had a buffet dinner, along with around a hundred tour group clients. It was satisfactory but rather undistinguished. The breakfast spread was reasonably extensive and the food in the bain maries was hot.

The hotel is ideally located for those coming to Fatima to see the sanctuary etc. I'd be happy to stay here again.

The hotel is a great pilgrimage hotel, and you can't get any closer to the Basilicas. If you need a 4+ star hotel on pilgrimage then you may want to look elsewhere, but the hotel is great. The rooms were fine, and clean with good A/C and a small TV. Beds are a little hard.

The square for pilgrims ending their pilgrimage and daily church services is just across the road.
This is the closest three storey hotel to where all the action is.
We were here during a quiet religious time however there was still considerable traffic and lots of people in the afternoon.
The hotel is neat, clean and provides comfortable accommodation for the night with lovely meals. Our room was adequate without being uncomfortable and consisted of a good size bathroom that had been recently modernised. We did ask for extra pillows as the main ones were small. The view from our window did allow us interesting glimpses of a procession of pilgrims to the sacred site. A place for those wanting to connect to their religion.
