Excellent location in front of the main door of the Casino, very nice staff, free parking, public area renewed but rooms need a good renewal and new decoration. Around meals time there is a strong food smell in the area of the lifts.
I strongly recommend that you book through a Hotel Booking website, because the price you get is half of the price that the hotel asks you if you book directly.

We stayed at this hotel in the end of March. We were surprised with the spacious and cosy room. The beds were comfortable. There was a small refrigerator in a room what seemed to be very practical. The view from our room to the casino was beautiful. Breakfast was normal, standart. In general, the hotel was quite, not noisy, although there were a lot of people.

Room tip: Upper floors have views to the Atlantic ocean

Good hotel, exceptionally clean and good sized rooms. Excellent location being just ten minutes from the beach and train station. Access to Lisbon City is very cheap and easy with trains running every 15 minutes but check which stop as it is not shown as " Lisbon" . Staff at the hotel are excellent, every person was helpful polite and really cared. The lady who checked us in was quick and efficient and even helped with airline check in when we left. Free wifi and good speed and connection,The sushi restaurant is fabulous and both the gentleman and young lady working were truly lovely people and made us feel most welcome. All in all a fabulous hotel for a short break and excellent price.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and our experience was alright. The beds seemed clean and were comfortable, however on our first night we found soiled towels in the bathroom! These were replaced the next day following house keeping but the memory still haunts me. Ew. On the plus side, breakfast was pretty nice, if lacking a little in variety (just eggs/sausages/toast...).

HOWEVER the thing I was most unhappy about was the lack of kettle in our room. I am a tea addict and after a trip to amsterdam where no tea bags where provided by the hotel, I went equipped with tea bags and milk this time...only to find THERE WAS NO KETTLE. I ended up going to the restaurant next door/downstairs every night to get some cups of boiling water for my tea. I was not going without tea this time. The cleaning lady did end up throwing away my box of tea bags on day 3 of our trip, which was crap, but I managed to get some from the hotel's own stash. Which brings me onto my next positive, the hotel staff were wonderful (apart from the lady who binned my tea bags...). They were all very friendly and helpful. In fact, everyone in Lisbon was friendly and helpful, they must see a lot of tourists because the number of times I asked for directions is laughable.

Back to the hotel, though the facilities were lacking, I would overall recommend for the friendly staff and the good location. It's a short walk from Estoril station, and from there you can get direct trains to both Lisbon and Cascais (depending on if you want a day in the city or a day on the beach).

Enjoy your trip :)
