We stayed at this hotel for one night while travelling from Porto to Lisbon.

RECEPTION: Great service, complimentary glass of port offered upon arrival.

ROOMS: Very modern, and spacious for European standards; comfortable, clean and quiet. The Atlantic Ocean view from the room was incredible. Large balcony.

PARKING: Clean, safe, and a tight squeeze for larger vehicles.

BREAKFAST: Included with a good variety of cold items; limited choice of warm items.

LOCATION: Excellent location along the ocean; good restaurant across the street.

I would definitely stay here again if travelling between Porto and Lisbon.

Incredible views from our 7th floor room. The surf beach vista was visible from the circular balcony. The room was excellent large 1 bedroom suite. 16th floor pool is spectacular with a stunning view. Good gym is also good and beside the pool. Staff of the hotel were terrific... highly recommend

Very modern hotel with great views from every room. We stayed two nights and were very pleased. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. We would have liked having a coffee maker in the room. Many good restaurants within a short walk and a short walk to the beach.

With stunning views over Buarcos and Figueira da Foz, the rooms are spacious and clean. Nice spa area, lacking an outdoor pool though. Car park inside (payed) but easy to find some parking outside, went in the beggining of summer.

We stayed 4 days in a junior suite, breakfast included. At the reception Antonio glows. He is an authentic professional, but surrounded by a team of young ladies who need to improve urgently their service to clients. Antonio was the best of the hotel, willing to understand client’s problems, to help them and find solutions with a maximum of friendliness and efficiency. We only used the restaurant once; Tasteless croaker on a base of pretty uncooked potatoes and vegetables. The breakfast of little variety, on the fourth day it was already beginning to bore except for the delicious slices of pineapple, papaya, melon, watermelon and orange, all a real delicacy for lovers of good fruit. Our room, painted in light colors, hid the poor general cleanliness (see in the photo powder accumulated on the phone's handle). I do not think it was the fault of the chamber maids, (there were days that at 3 PM, back from the beach, we found the suite not cleaned), but from an overly austere staff assignment. Interestingly, the HDMI 3 of the TV was disabled (something unusual in high-end hotels) and the offer of international programs, insufficient. The adjustment of the 2 main elevators was incomprehensible: you pressed the call selector to watch how the elevators passed - non stop - to higher floors. Not the fault of the managers of the hotel but the expert who select the floor of the bathrooms should be held accountable: he chose the one that leaves the biggest appearance of footprints and dirt. The gym has dumbbells and exercise machinery in good condition. The small pool is a noisy children's territory, unless you use it between 2 and 3 PM . The solarium offers beautiful views of the beach which it is very close. Walk across the promenade in front of the hotel and you will step on sand. In general, the staff is composed by young people of pleasant presence who try, with lesser success, to keep the site in good operation. Let there be no misunderstanding. The annoyances caused by above mentioned failures did not bitter our summer. Figueira da Foz is an ideal holiday spot for practicing a nice active holiday and maybe we will visit it again.

Room tip: Be patient with the lifts or use the stairs.
