Description: Located in the middle of the sands of the Praia da Claridade in Figueira da Foz, the Areias de Sabores Restaurant is a cozy space where tradition and modernity coexist naturally, being the quality a priority and nothing is left to chance. The service, friendly and informal, contributes to a joyful and relaxed environment. The kitchen, mostly of Portuguese inspiration, includes influences of some parts of the world, in particular in Southern Europe and Asia. The Menu offers a wide variety of appetizers, snacks, starters, main courses and desserts, so the dining experience can be different on each visit. We also have a kid's menu and vegetarian proposals. Through the use of contemporary furniture, colorful pieces of decorative items depicting the sea and beach, we created an informal, lively and dynamic.

It is a beautiful place with very good and veggie food. Good price for an excellent and fast service,
I recommend specially the chocolate dessert.

Having read the reviews we decided upon this restaurant for our 1 night visit. Unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations.
The butter was farcicle, with 2 tiny ice gem sized pieces on a plate. One of the 4 starters we ordered wasn't available, the scallop and when the starters eventually came they were ok, although the cream of seafood soup was actually a bisque that tasted beefy. The mushroom soup was nice and the mussels very good.
One of our main course choices was also unavailable, the seabass with cauliflower puree. We then waited a very long time for the main courses to arrive. The steak with garlic sauce was very good, as was the fish of the day dish. The 2 pork loin with prawns had a sauce which was heavily over salted, although the individual elements of the dish without the sauce were very good. When we told the waiter about this he went to speak to the chef and then came back and told us that the chef said it wasn't over salted, it was just spicy! He did offer to exchange the dish but we had already been waiting a very long time.

On a restaurant just over the sand, didn´t expect this kind of sofistication and cuisine.

Service is a bit on the over-zelous, but helpful, giving a good sugestion of food and wine.

Food was a suprise, with some amazing flavours and combinations. In the end thew came to greet us and know about our opinion - nice touch.

A bit expensive - 30€ per person - but you pay for the difference.

We've had dinner here a few times in the last few months and every time we enjoy it. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, the view is amazing and the food always delicious! Good wines too! If the chef has time, he even comes out to your table to ask you about the food. We haven't eaten her in summer yet, but we can't wait to enjoy the food and wine outside on the terrace/beach.
