I've actually stayed in this hotel twice this year. Once in July, and then in November.
Let's start with location. It's in a new part of the city, surrounded by new apartment buildings. It's right next to a lake, which is the end point of some of the boat tours on the canals. It's in walking distance of the city centre. 10 minutes to the mall, and there are also two supermarkets nearby.
Check-in was easy, the receptionists do speak English. There is a separate elevator that goes down to the parking, and they charge extra for that.
I didn't try the restaurant or bar, just ate breakfast. There is a large selection of everything. The apple pie I love so much, I ate it every day. However, there are no signs on the sweets. I wish all hotels had signs on their breakfast items for allergy sufferers. I have a nut allergy, and it's so annoying trying to guess if something has almond in it, for example. I did ask a waitress, but their English was a lot worse, and they had a difficult time getting my question. Also, they only put out two lactose free milks, and they disappear by 8am. I took one, put some of it in my coffee, and the rest I took up and stored in the fridge. At least none wasted.
The room is great. I loved the bed. Wished they could send...I've actually stayed in this hotel twice this year. Once in July, and then in November.

The room is great. I loved the bed. Wished they could send it after me. The TV was a smart TV, and I could connect my tablet through Miracast, which was neat. There are no free outlets next to the bed though, which is a common hotel problem. If your hand is attached to your phone as much as mine is, you need to take a distributor. The bathroom was okay, though the tub pretty worn. It's not a new hotel, but a modern one, and you can see some wear and tare on the room features. The bath things, like soap and shampoo are wonderful. I love their smell, and the presentation is great.
The spa is nice, though the pool isn't very big, and the jets could be stronger. Also, they have a lot of pool workouts and I think I also saw a swimming class, so the pool isn't always free. The shower in the spa could only manage cold water in November, and one didn't work of the three. I didn't try the sauna, as I can't stand them. During the summer they charged extra for the spa, but in November they didn't. I'm not sure why.
Overall, I really love the hotel for the breakfast and the room. The one I stayed in had a good view of the lake. Do ask for that. I do recommend this hotel, but if you want to use the spa, make sure about the classes and charges. And hopefully the hotel will consider my suggestion of putting up signs for breakfast.
