To begin with, I would never call this tiny playhouse a "villa". Its not a separate building, its part of another one. Looks like it used to be a veranda, but then it was rebuilt to be a "house".
Inside there is a huge amount of unnecessary furniture - chairs, tables, chairs again. So that its hard to move inside. Have no idea what is the purpose of stuffing it all there, when its meant to be "perfect for couples".
But what you can't find there - is a closet or at least some hangers where you could put for example your jackets coming back from the beach.
Upstairs there is the most uncomfortable bed ever. With two constantly gliding in opposite directions mattresses. Under the bed a pile of trash from the previous customers.
The worst thing about it all though was the smell downstairs...of something rotten or like somebody has died. The owner is probably aware of it, because there are air fresheners in every possible part of the place - even in the fridge.
The bill included "limpieza" cost 50 €, which was funny, since no-one has ever cleaned there during that week that we were enjoying the place. Judging by the pile of trash under the bed and dirty windows, no one has cleaned there before us either.
I tried to spend as much time as possible outside the house, because it was so unpleasant to be inside.
We can't still shake off the feeling of being fooled. This place is definitely not worth the money we paid for it.
We stayed five days at this cute, little house at the entrance of Sagres and we really enjoyed our time there! It’s just perfect for two persons. Everything was in a clean and proper condition and the decoration was very tasteful. It has also got a terrace and a well-kept garden. Furthermore the contact with the owner was extremely friendly. I can really recommend this place!
