We were here in December, back now in February. Staff is really friendly and the burgers are delicious.
Enjoying my rosé wine, ask for Cabrita rosé from Algarve, great value for a great bottle.
Definitely don’t miss a visit here if you come to Faro beach.

We had the most delightful meal at Wax. Outside terrace overlooking the beach, lovely food, very friendly staff. A wonderful way to round off our holiday before heading to the airport. Definitely going back again.

Hostel was very cute and cheap. Its okay if you stay for 1 or 2 nights. Bathroom is also nice and clean. You can get towels for 3€. Kitchen is big and there is everything you need.
Hostel is really close to the beach. There is a restaurant on the beach with nice food.

I didn't feel I was staying in a hostel so much as it was so well situated on Praia do Faro. Estuary at the back, beach on the front - minutes from restaurants, bars and mini supermercado. The staff were friendly and professional. It is a hostel - you share rooms with up to 4 other people but the beds are comfy and each bed is provided with charging stations including USB ports. A great stay and holiday location.

Room Tip: All rooms between 4 or 5 beds and have air con.

I can't really fault this hostel! I stayed in the middle of September with a friend for a duce day vacation and it was brilliant. The location is ideal as it's peaceful, scenic but conveniently situated a two minute walk from a bus stop to the airport and Faro town.

Depending on the time of year you have the option to take excursions to caves and wild dolphin watching from Albufeira marina.
It's great value as the hostel is kept very clean, free air conditioning, free WiFi, the beds are comfortable, you are given a key to a large personal locker (that fits a small suitcase) in your room to store valuables, full use of a complete kitchen for chilling and cooking food. There's a river view from the lobby and a beach view from the restaurant in the other side. The staff in the restaurant can be friendly, not so much the waitresses, the receptionist isn't always there and he can be quite dismissive and rush you to get your questions out the way.
The hostel restaurant has a modern beach bar surf vibe and an ideal view of the sunset which could explain why food and drinks are so expensive. A jug of sangria is €13.50.
Staying here all in all was well worth the money with free continental breakfast. Views are spectacular and you'll meet some great travellers from all over the globe. Would recommend!
