Very small but interesting museum. Only takes an hour of that so needs to be combined with other attractions. It's situated in a lovely village with other things of interest and gift shops

It is such a shame that all the hard work that has gone into this over the years is at a point that it really needs an update in putting all the toys into some date order and even expanding it to somewhere else where a bigger shop could be incorporated to extend the gifts sold as a lot of the items are really crammed in. Although we had read of the story of how the collection started the room with that information is to the rear and would of thought it better to be at the beginning showing the actual doll by its self. We where on foot as staying in the village but not sure where people with cars would park as it is on a main road. There is lots to see which brings back nostalgic memories but becomes a little overwhelming due to the setup.

A true TARDIS of a museum, don't let the small shop fool you! Their museum reaches a long way back into the building with thousands of old toys and dolls on display!

Spend the day in Brading and there's so much to see and do, but don't forget a visit to this wonderful museum!

There are many exhibits - not just dolls. We spent a happy hour and a half wandering the corridors lined by old and original toys, teddies and dolls. The little shop attached sells some interesting retro toys and doll's house pieces . I at least was pleased to find that there's also a loo!

We visited on a rainy day and as a couple of big kids we thought we would love it but we were greeted by a couple of hallways of creepy looking dolls that looked like they would move at any moment.

The dolls and toys (although not many were toys) were interesting to look at but the exhibits were confusing and could have done with being in chronological order to make it more understandable. The cabinets were dusty with many having some eight legged inhabitants lurking in the corners.

Not horrendous for the price, but could definitely do with some updating as not many pieces pass the 1950’s era..
