This is a charming hotel which is very well positioned to explore Brugge. Public parking Pandereitje is the closest to this hotel and is a lot cheaper than the hotel (could be difficult finding a spot during busy weekends). The lobby and the general areas of the hotel are superbly decorated. However, we found the decor in the rooms to be a bit bland, especially given that the rooms were very pricey (225 Eur a night). The toiletries could be of better quality too. Access to the wellness was free but the options were limited (Sauna and Steam baths). Breakfast was good. Staff in the hotel were accommodating and friendly. If we were to return, we would choose this place only if it were significantly cheaper.

Lets start with the positive, as i only have one side note to the negative.
- super clean
- gorgeous rooms, lobby and bar area
- this hotel is a very mature hotel, sophisticated and kind staff
- proper breakfast with many choices
- don’t expect someone to carry your luggage... so if you manage to drag your suitcase from the reception to the elevator( which is next to the reception) then you are good to go.
- cute high quality bathroom extras
- big wellness but not loads of options. So with the big space would be great to add a small jacuzzi or so.

Now the one negative remark. The parking sign was not clear enough. So it was a bit of a search. Driving into the street you need to take the first ally next to the entrance and ring the bell for the underground car space.

We as a couple had a great stay. 2 days were just enough to enjoy this hotel and Bruges of course.

Beautiful hotel, good location and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious with high ceiling, clean and tidy. The breakfast is good too. The bar is nice and relaxing. Jamie behind the bar serves yummy cocktails and provides friendly professional service. Highly recommended!

Stayed here for 2 nights on a Super-break B & B deal of £74 per person each for those 2 nights. Hotel was in an excellent position, two minutes walk from the main square and all central attractions. The hotel was fabulous. Traditional but decadent. Our room was in the main building on the top floor. It was amazing. High ceiling, chandelier, separate bathroom and toilet. L’Occitaine toiletries, coffee machine, kettle, minibar, safe, fluffy towels, free Wi-fi, TV with BBC 1! The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Hot and cold food, something for everyone’s taste. General bar/ lounge was beautiful. Didn’t use steam rooms, sauna or gym which were situated in the basement but they looked good. Would love to go back and stay again. I had contacted the hotel before arrival to ask if my partner’s 60 th Birthday could be acknowledge and there was a card and some complimentary chocolates in the room. First class experience all round.

We have recently enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing break at the beautiful elegant Grand Hotel Casselbergh Bruges. The hotel is in a fantastic location near to all the main attractions. Our room was in the old building, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious, we throughly enjoyed our trip and will return again. A big thank you to the staff who were all helpful and welcoming.
