You have to leave reception and dining area, go outside (winter issue) and walk to the next door building. You feel not quite part of the hotel.
The rooms are very cute as per the website but the attic ones are very tight - you have to lug your bag up the usual steep tight spiral stairs and when you get there there’s not much room to open one never mind two medium bags.
The common areas are lovely but not cosy/intimate.
Breakfast was typical and of a good standard.
Staff were excellent.
The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque part of town, a fair walk to the train.
We enjoyed our stay.More
