We wanted a private, intimate and cozy setting for our religious ceremony and wedding reception. Boutique hotel was perfect! The setting made our photos so regal with a elegant wallpaper, gold cutlery, candles, and 16th century style decor. The 3 course meal served was simply exquisite from the entree to the dessert. The goat cheese salad, guinea fowl and tiramisu are to die for!
Lorenzo went above and beyond for us, booking a boat to pick us up from city hall after our civil ceremony. We went for a tour of the city (complete with history, anecdotes and humor) while we enjoyed his high wine service. His bubbly personality and the flair with which he served us gave the cruise a great ambiance.
We also spent our honeymoon night there. The room was romantic, with high ceilings and crossed wooden beams, chandelier and big windows which offered a magnificent view of the canal. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of savory and sweet options. The quality of the products served was excellent (even the orange juice!)
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone for a romantic getaway or to host a small intimate wedding reception. Lorenzo is someone reliable, who replies within a reasonable time, and is open to your ideas and requests.
