We chose this hotel primarily for the location to the tulip fields and the gardens. The rooms were adequate, great sized bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and a balcony, that despite looking out over the neighbouring houses was a nice added touch. The room also came with a fridge which was ideal for stocking up on breakfast stuff and saving some pennies. The hotel also hires out bikes for €12.50 per day, they have a shed you can lock them in so great to have for a longer period. We didn’t use the restaurant or the breakfast facilities, partly due to having the bikes and to the not so good reviews of both on here. Despite this the hotel itself is very welcoming and a great place to rest your head.

This is a good value, friendly, clean hotel / bar in a perfect position for visiting Keukenhof. The staff made us feel very welcome, and the room was clean and functional (three couples stayed in 5,6,7 all fine and located in an adjacent building). You can hear the road but it’s not intrusive and is quiet at night. The benefits of the road is the bus stop smack outside that takes you to Harlem, Schiphol or to the nearby train station and Amsterdam.
Don’t understand other reviews complaining about the food....perfectly good breakfast and meals in the pub restaurant were delicious and filling! Nice range of beers to wash it down. Good free WiFi.
50 minutes walk to Keukenhof or hire one of the bikes. Another reason for staying somewhere like this is that you can visit the gardens at about 3.30 when the buses clear out and stay til closing. Lovely light and fewer people.

Stayed 8-10 April. Excellent! Modern spacy room with modern comfortable bath-room and box spring bed. Breakfast nice. Very friendly staff. Very quiet despite adjacent road. Good price - product relation. Can fully recommend. Only 3 minutes drivd by car to Parking of Keukenhof. Bravo.

We stayed in the hotel for our 4 night trip to The Netherlands. We chose the hotel due to its proximity to Keukenhof, which was the primary purpose of our visit. On arrival, the staff were very friendly and helpful! There were 3 of us and we had a room with a sleeper couch. The room was small with the couch made as a bed. It had tea and coffee making facilities and a little fridge. The bathroom is nicely appointed and the shower a good size. The room was made each day and they replenished the tea and coffee. The did not refresh the water, which was only a tiny bottle each. Only on one day were we given little chocolates. The last morning they only made the beds roughly. They didn’t tidy the room at all. It was hardly worth the effort.
The breakfast (which is not included in the price) was terrible! Do not waste your money. The scrambled eggs were blue from over heating, the bacon cold, no toaster to toast the bread. Only 1 cereal. Dried out cheese and ham slices. Average tea and coffee. Certainly not worth the money!
The location is out of town, but close to keukenhof, as I mentioned. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which is convenient.
They also hire out bikes for the day which was good fun and value for money.
The room was ok. It served the purpose for us.
I certainly wouldn’t stay there again but it would be ok for a night or two, just don’t eat there!

We stayed only for a night and were happy it was not longer.
The room was neat & well-furnished but really small. There was even no space for a suitcase other than next to the door, but then we could not enter the bathroom... The entrance stairs is extremely steep, the whole "hotel" looks like a couple of rooms built-up afterwards. Isolation seems non-existent. The rooms was freezing even though it was about +15 outside. Bathroom floor felt like ice. You hear everything from the busy road from the front, plus every single drop of rain. If it was heavy raining, we could not even hear the tv.
We can't evaluate the staff as there was no one to welcome us. Reception was closed & we received the key at the bar downstairs, and just needed to leave our key at the room when leaving.
All in all, I would stay here only if absolutely nothing was available in the neighborhood, and never for a longer period.
