Due to the delay of Spring , in the gardens there were not much flowers .However there were pots with tulips along the alleys and they were wonderful.
Hundreds of different fully blossomed tulips were in the covered area Willem -Alexander.It was absolutely beautiful!
One can also learn a bit about the history of the tulips & the Netherlands .
We spent 4 hours there and did not see everything.I believe it is a whole day activity if the weather allows it:)
Naturally, there are a lot of souvenir shops, cafe's and restaurants, as well as playgrounds. The staff is polite.Prices reasonable.
