Stumbled across this place while looking for dinner prior to catching the train back. This little gem is located along the main restaurant area and was one of the more crowded ones. Outdoor seating was a bit chilly but we were able to shift to a table closer to the heat lamps. Ordered some food which came out quite slowly (I am told this is normal in Netherlands) but can I say how pleasantly surprised I was at the food? The random ‘oysters of the day’ turned out to be Fine de Claire No 3 (for a very reasonable price). Everything that followed was hot and hearty and beautifully seasoned. Service was great and all the food was chased down with some excellent wine. We had octopus risotto, steak and chips. Would definitely visit again if I’m ever in town.
