This apartment is in an amazing location with a lovely view, everything is within walking distance. There are lots of places to eat nearby and a hop on hop off canal boat right outside.
The rooms were very clean and had lots of space, the beds were very comfy as well! I personally loved the church bells and they didn't keep me awake at all.
One suggestion I would make would be to put locks on the bedroom doors I had no issue with the safety of my belongs, but for things like getting changed you would have a bit more privacy.
Regarding the comment below about shared kitchen/terrace. The managements response was that the description clearly mentions that the terrace and kitchen is a shared space however I would disagree with this as I myself didn't realise that it was shared.
I do think it needs to be stated more clearly in the advert it could be due to the automated translation. But I have no complaints and definitely would recommend staying in this apartment it was an amazing trip!
My visiting mom and auntie were absolutely enthusiastic about this accommodation, they loved the cleanliness, the view on the canal and the church and especially the chic bathroom. They love walking around and everything they wanted to visit was nearby, in the end they never took the weekly tram pass because they managed by foot. The shared kitchen and terrace were also the perfect place for them to make coffee or enjoy a drink when I joined them, and it was absolutely wonderful. Total privacy and freedom to come and go without the hassle of a hotel with lots of other guests, taxies nearby and still very quiet and intimate. I will certainly recommend it as a treat to visiting friends, because I live outside Amsterdam and sometimes you just want to be in the middle of everything.

This is a spacious apartment and situated in a very convenient location, opposite Ann Frank House. We were made very welcome and were impressed with the cleanliness. Loved the views over the canal and the shared roof terrace. The only downside were the bells from the church opposite that kept chiming all through the night! We thought they should stop about 11pm but they didn't. Take ear plugs! The stairs were also very steep as you would expect with a canal side house, but we did get used to them quite quickly. I would certainly return there for another stay.
We stayed here recently and it is a perfect location and very clean. It was handy to have a washer and dryer to use and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place although it's not for anyone with mobility issues as there are many narrow stairs to access the apartment. Also, if one doesn't like the sound of children around (we didn't mind) then it may not be suitable as you can hear the owners daughter coming and going who has a bedroom on the floor below.
The flat is not completely private as the owners can go through the hallways of your apartment and your kitchen to get to the shared terrace and laundry room. It seemed like they only did so when we were out for the day, so it wasn't bothersome for us. The kitchen is fully stocked (no microwave for those of us used to having one) and is convenient to have so as not to eat out all the time. I would definitely stay here again.
