Description: We are a small exclusive restaurant with a southern European oriented kitchen. Our menu offers a select choice of traditional Spanish dishes and creations inspired by the Mediterranean cuisine. Our chefs are dedicated to prepare for our guests the best dishes with the finest ingredients. The restaurant is decorated in the southern Spanish style with original tiles and a long marble bar where you can enjoy our extensive wine list, have a meal or if you have not booked, have a drink while waiting for a table. For a snack and a drink you can also sit on the terace. In the summer you can enjoy watching the boats taking turns to sail through the narrow gate towards the open water or to the canals of the oldest and most beautiful part of Amsterdam.

They have a small outdoor seating area right on the canal, so we went there late in the afternoon on a sunny day and enjoyed our beers. Just lovely and sweet.

Stopped here for drinks on a recent trip. We were able to get a table overlooking the canal. Prices were decent and service was great.

Stumbled across this beautiful little restaurant by accident , located at the top of the red light district but feeling like a world away ! We decided to stop off and enjoy the beautiful view after a days exploring. We sat canalside and soaked up the sun , watching the boats and people posing for photographs on the pretty little bridge . Our waitress was super attentive and the Heineken went down a treat . We'd already eaten lunch , but the smells coming from the kitchen helped us to decide to call in for tea . The restaurant inside was beautiful with crisp fresh white linen and sparkling glassware . We opted to eat outside and make the most of the amazing view . I went for octopus , and he who eats meats had steak . Wow ! First time octopus eater and I thoroughly enjoyed it . The larger part of the tentacle cut like butter , while the ends were crispy and tasted almost barbequed . It was a real treat ! The steak alsocht like butter and the brandy reduction it was served with was a triumph !
Please visit , whether for a drink or eats , you will not be disappointed. A little word regarding the outside tables , please don't move them . Whilst we were seated enjoying a drink on our first visit the waitress was chastised by her colleague . Someone had moved the table, not her , but a customer . From what I can gather , the restaurant can be fined as their tables are next to a sculpture. The sculpture has to be able to be viewed without a table obscuring the back side of it . So please , go , but please don't , move tables . Thankyou , and enjoy !

Two friends and I wound up dining here on our second of three nights in Amsterdam. I had spotted it as a likely candidate on Google Maps, both for its highly positive reviews and its proximity to the hotel where my friends were staying. The meal, though just three courses, took quite a long time-- but that was because everything was being made from scratch, and these people are serious about serving quality food. The highlight was a paella-like seafood feast topped by a whole split lobster. We loved it all-- just don't come here expecting to be in & out in 45 minutes! It's worth the wait, and the price.

The meal was very tasty and the house wine was surprisingly good! It has a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Very few places to eat in the red light district looked at all welcoming - this one was different.
