Very crowded (Fri 6:30pm) with patrons blocking view of many paintings. With a few bright exceptions, most art is from his “dark” period.
Even with Museum Card, we couldn’t get in w/o advanced online reservns. days in advance. Beware of bogus ticketing websites which request your credit card #.
We much preferred the Van Gogh collection at the Kroller Muller Museum which is in a lovely park, accessible by bus ride.

While the art was beautiful, there were so many people that it felt more like a tourist trap than an art museum. I know they want to make money, but they really should not let so many people in at a time. I enjoyed the visiting exhibit more than the Van Gogh portion of the museum.

Sanja was an excellent your guide. She did an incredible job and was very, informative and knew the subject matter very well. She was very respectful of everyone's time and made it a very memorable occasion.

I spent almost 2 hours at this museum which gave a great overview of Vincent’s art and influences. The museum has 3 floors with his paintings and history. I had the opportunity to know Mathew Wong’s exhibition in the 3rd floor and his talent was really interesting. Unfortunately he ended up with his life, just like Vincent. Worth the visit.

Booked tickets on line through the museum's site. Arrived at the designated time and went straight in. The museum is set out in a easy to follow timeline. The painting Almond Blossom being one of my favourites in an emotional viewing.
