A beautiful collection of the Dutch masters and other art, sculpture and artifacts. The size of the museum was very manageable, and not as overwhelming as the Louvre. A nice half-day visit.

I just visited for the first time and can't recommend it enough. Stunning architecture and layout, and of course The Nightwatch was a bucket list moment for any art lover. Went on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy...barely waited to get our tickets, so don't worry if you haven't prebooked and you happen to be in the neighbourhood. :)

When you look at the top things to do on TA, Rijksmuseum is up there. After seeing it for the first time you can see why. It is a stunning museum architecturally. In front of the museum it has the I am Amsterdam sign. We didn’t go inside the museum as we didn’t have enough time but we will next time. You can also cycle under the museum.

Went to see the Rembrandt’s and was surprised as the other collections. Paints are great, but the museum also has furniture and other very interesting artifacts. Signage is confusing and it can be hard to navigate between floors. Recommend getting tickets on line to miss the admission queues which can be long. Well worth a visit.
