Description: Set in the design-led Park Hotel, in the centre of Amsterdam is MOMO Restaurant, Bar and Lounge. The very centre of the city's fashion district, it's no surprise to find a restaurant with such style right here. A true destination venue, MOMO is all shining wood floors, cool, clean lines and uber-trendy seating. Light floods in from the street, reflected around the room by huge mirrors - the epitome of sleek European design. However this concept restaurant combines this very Western styling with Eastern cuisine, flavours as colourful as the surroundings. The menu is designed for sharing allowing the diner to enjoy creating their own experience with friends. Opening hours Bar Sunday - Thursday 10:00am till 01:00am Friday & Saturday 10:00am till 02:00am Lunch Monday - Friday 12:00 noon till 02:30pm Saturday 12:00 noon till 03:00pm Sunday 12:00 noon till 04:00pm A small selection of the menu is also available in the bar during & after lunch Dinner Sunday 06:00pm till 10:00pm Monday - Wednesday 06:00pm till - 11:00pm Thursday, Friday & Saturday 06:00pm - till 11:30pm

Had dinner at momo. I’d recommend the black cod and the Pok Choi and mushroom. However the other dishes were disappointing - the sea bass was over cooked on the outside and only tepid on the inside. The coriander and ginger rice was nice but was room temperature, and the chicken skewers had no taste.

We were happy to get a table but it was right by the door on a chilly evening and with people constantly coming and going it made for a cold dining experience. Overall, a pricey meal that did not deliver.

Helpful and accommodating wait staff added to our experience at Momo. The need to find gluten free options often gives some restaurants difficulty. Not here. Very good lunch options. Wait staff even checked soy sauce used to assure food safety for one lunch special. Very good food, well-prepared dishes. Pricey, but worth it.

Out with friends we called in for drinks. We ordered from the drinks menu a bottle of rose champagne cost €115 to share. We had more drinks and some small plates of food, all nice. When the bill came the champagne was billed at €395. We pointed this out to server who insisted we had ordered the special Belle Époque version. At the risk of looking like we lack sophistication we all had no idea what this was or why indeed it was so expensive and we most certainly hadn't ordered it which we pointed out. The whole incident was handled with a lack of grace by the manager who insisted that the servers version trumped all of ours. Cutting a long story short we paid for what we had ordered, but it was awkward and marred what was otherwise a nice experience.
