This is a small but stylish restaurant and the food is absolutely superb. The young staff were genuinely friendly and helpful and overall, the service was impeccable. It’s not cheap, but then food of this quality shouldn’t be. A fantastic experience!

Our group of 5 friends enjoyed a delicious meal here. We ordered the mixed starter - shared 2 between us plus a Greetje's classic (meaty sandwich), a main each and the mixed dessert for 3. With delicious bread (accompanied by extremely delicious pork fat spread) plus an unexpected pate amuse bouche we had more than enough to eat. Champagne cocktails and wine were both good too. The restaurant was not too busy (Sunday night) and the waiter apologised early on for being short of staff so service wasn't terribly quick but we were happy chatting and working our way through the food. Although he was clearly working very hard our waiter didn't seem flustered or hurried and added to the relaxed cosy atmosphere of the place.

This restaurant was definitely different. We enjoyed trying the authentic Dutch dishes especially their specialty sugared toast with duck terrine and apple syrup. We had what I believe was the best table in the house overlooking the canal and our server was terrific. All in all, an enjoyable experience.

My husband left the place praising the waiter for the best service he has ever had at any restaurant we’ve ever been - we eat out and travel a lot!
We went for the dinner tasting menu, it was a great way of trying all the options, I didn’t love every single dish but that was just a matter of taste, overall everything was very nicely prepared and tasty.

The entree/main course was way too large for a tasting menu, we left the place way too full - but I guess we could’ve just not eaten all.
Great dessert variety!

Outside the main tourist areas this little bistro is a real find.

As a walk in without a reservation they gave me a table but did warn there was another booking later. This was not a problem though as the service was quick and I was not rushed.

Feeling a little peckish I ordered a starter (Ham was the most appealing) and decided to try the 'Zoor Vleîs' which is described as a 'Traditional Limburgian stew from horse meat according to Greetje's recipe, home-made thick fries and Greetje's lettuce'.

The complimentary bread with beetroot butter and pig-belly fat, apple and onion spreads was great.

The starter ham was fine, undoubtedly high quality but not exceptional. It was a generous size though and well presented.

The main, Zoor Vleîs, came as a bowl of stew with thick cut chips (fries) and a bowl of the lettuce. It too was generously proportioned and very tasty. The stew was rich and flavoursome and paired well with the chips.

Overall a very nice Dutch meal experience. Come hungry or be prepared to share!
