Friendly welcome, amazing food and desert, everything served tasted great : steak risotto and dessert, the service was professional and very friendly and surprisingly enough the price is fair. Given the posh atmosphere of the Cafe you except expensive, pretentious average food with snobbish service , it was tasty, fresh , perfectly done and fairly priced , a wonderful and relaxing experience end to end.

Stayed in the hotel and opted to eat in since the weather was cold and wet. Both nights the service was inexcusably slow. Slow to take orders and slower still to serve food. The first night I ordered a Manhattan which was excellent. Second night I ordered an Old Fashion and was told they could not serve drinks from the bar. Finally, a maitre d intervened and my drink appeared. Food was good but not great am sure there’s much better to be found in Amsterdam. Cannot sign off however without giving credit to the hotel’s buffet breakfast and the exceptional quality of the croissants which were outstanding.

Came here for a dinner with 18 colleagues on a set menu.
First course was a selection of mozzarella, smoked salmon and couscous.
Main course was guinea-fowl.
Desert was a raspberry cream.
Coffees with petit four.

Excellent food with good service. People with lactose and gluten allergy also received excellent food with a good mix of flavours.

Only issue was we had no wine glasses and were not offered a wine list (had to ask) which is the missing attention to detail - but overall a lovely meal and would definitely eat here again.

I booked a high tea on a sunday afternoon.
What a beautiful hotel, fresh flowers, clean spaces and old fashioned mini towels in the restrooms.
The staff welcomed us and waiter Frans gave us an afternoon to never forget!
The high tea was very nice, although the scone was a little bit small, but only because it tasted so fine!
We had a birthday to celabrate, all of a sudden there were balloons and a special cake.
Frans, thanks for the great afternoon and the rest of the staff also. This is what guest experience with a smile and a miljonair feeling feels like!

Good localization. Very friendly people. Specjal Sylwia from housekeeping department. She told us very interesting thins about the hotel, give us Amsterdam map and sey where we should go.
