We had dinner here one night during our stay, and really enjoyed it. We didn't realize that we were close to closing time, but the waiter was extremely warm and gracious, and welcomed us to one of the carpet-topped tables. The best way I could describe the meal was home-style Dutch, with bowls of salad, steamed vegetables, fries, and applesauce accompanying our meals. It's solid fare with no frills, but the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was cozy and warm. Definitely worth checking out, and a great place for a solid, decent meal.
