Big spacious rooms, was nice and comfortable.Service was amazing and breakfast was devine. Will definitely recommend them to anyone going that side and will use them again

The overall experience was good but the room I was closer to some sort of machinery sound not sure if that was a laundry of what, making sounds at certain intervals that broke my sleep badly and I was on a business trip not for leisure. The light could not switch off, so had to sleep with the main light on which negatively affected my sleep.

Firstly, Umthunzi is perfectly situated. arriving at the premises you are first greeted by a beautiful building and well kept premises. the reception area is stunning (gorgeous place to take some pictures, which i did!) where you welcomed warmly by such friendly staff. the rooms was spacious, with complementary tea and coffee with the water adding a nice touch. the beds were big and comfortable with dreamy pillows that just seemed to draw your stress and fatigue away! Impressive also was the hygiene and cleanliness of the room and the overall hotel. The food! talk about scrumptious cuisine that delighted the palate from dinner to breakfast to lunch bags. The food was well seasoned, tender meat and cooked to perfection and always served with a smile. it was a first time experience that has left a great impression and will be my choice of stay whenever i am in the area on business or for pleasure. overall, an impressive stay.
