Firstly, Umthunzi is perfectly situated. arriving at the premises you are first greeted by a beautiful building and well kept premises. the reception area is stunning (gorgeous place to take some pictures, which i did!) where you welcomed warmly by such friendly staff. the rooms was spacious, with complementary tea and coffee with the water adding a nice touch. the beds were big and comfortable with dreamy pillows that just seemed to draw your stress and fatigue away! Impressive also was the hygiene and cleanliness of the room and the overall hotel. The food! talk about scrumptious cuisine that delighted the palate from dinner to breakfast to lunch bags. The food was well seasoned, tender meat and cooked to perfection and always served with a smile. it was a first time experience that has left a great impression and will be my choice of stay whenever i am in the area on business or for pleasure. overall, an impressive stay.

Everything was tops from initial telephonic booking to departure. Staff were excellent, bar man was very friendly, so too were the reception and dinner/breakfast staff. Top sea views from our executive suite. The place was very neat and the rooms were neat and very cosy. The entire place was very clean and not a speck of dust was sighted. I highly recommend everyone to this establishment. It is costly to maintain such a place but you get 5 star treatment indeed.

The bed was the most comfortable with really lovely bedding. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Most if all the place was kept immaculately clean. Loved tge peace and quietness and stunning sea views. Got to see the olphins and whales from our balcony
