Love this place - beautiful art deco furnishing, and allegedly one of Albert Einstein's favourite spots. Great coffee and bircher, friendly service too!

The Odeon Cafe and Bar holds lots of Zurich history, and it's easy to feel it. Albert Einstein did his drinking here! Jung, Lenin, Brando... pretty cool! The place is over 100 years old. If you are down around the Bellevue, have a beer, an expresso or something you like and soak up the feeling. Be sure to take a look at the pictures hanging on the walls in the stairway.

We were totally ignored in this place. We walked around trying to find a menu we could understand and there was absolutely no one interested in assisting us. So we left and had a delicious brunch in Globus. Too much hype and history in this place being damaged by such awful staff

Odeon has a lot of history to the place. It has had some of the most prominent people including Lenin, Freud and Einstein visit the bar to meet or meet and ideate. One can almost feel their aura yet. The coffees and the champagne cocktails are outstanding.

Breakfast with outstanding croissant until late; large Lunchmenu; nice place for afther hours; interesting crowd bevor dinnertime, and fun late night. Food served until after midnight and this is not easy to find in zuerich; for hose who like this old -classic- traditional- Cafes and Bars; this one has over 100 years and is mentioned in many books. Great place !
