After seeing the folklore group perform out on the street, we decided to attend. The performers were friendly, the musicians were very skilled in playing all the different instruments and the audience participation was fun.
However, the group we saw had a lady as their lead singer who seemed to be totally the wrong person for this role as she didn't have much enthusiasm or energy so didn't connect with the crowd very much at all.
It seems that the restaurant has a few different groups they bring in to run their folklore nights so your experience here depends on which group is performing on the night you attend.
Unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend the group we saw & had a much better experience at Stadtkeller in Lucerne - but the folklore night here was free whereas Stadtkeller was 17Fr each ... so I guess maybe you just get what you pay for!
