It’s a excellent hotel for the price it’s clean and tidy a good breakfast and there is some good restaurants near by. There is plenty of free parking. It is a good walk in to Siena but if you go to the covered car park near city walls (2€/hr)and take the free lifts up it does make it much easier. The staff are very friendly and a big help.

Be careful booking this hotel through booking .com - not sure if its the hotel's fault or booking .com but we wanted to book here but could not get a confirm but the result was that our five nite booking was not refundable even though not confirmed by us - luckily we were able to find alternate lodging at a much higher price as we could not get through to anyone - once we got on line the only option was to cancel and trigger the non refundable option despite not having confirmation from them that the booking was made.

This hotel was a little hard to find but once we found it....it was great. Friendly staff, clean and well appointed. There is parking and is just a short bus ride up to the old town of Siena. Breakfast was good.

We had a very warm welcome and were told that we had been given a free upgrade to the superior rooms. The rooms were beautiful, with extremely comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms containing fantastic showers. Mum's room even contained a comfortable sofa! The rooms had fridges well stocked with juice, fizzy drinks and water at very reasonable prices. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and clearly know the local area very well. They recommended three restaurants when we asked for one nearby and we found an excellent one next to the hotel.

If you don't have a car, taxis to the city centre are readily obtainable, usually arriving in 3 minutes or so, and are much cheaper than in the UK.

A impressive place to stay.

Room tip: 1st floor superior rooms are beautiful.

We picked this place because we had a car and cannot drive into Siena old city. The hotel has ample free parking. Staff here are very friendly. The walk to the old city takes about 20 minutes to get to the escalators which will take you up the hill if you don't want to drive and park at the foot of the hill (parking would be 2euros/hr). The hotel is very clean, and had a decent breakfast selection.
