Disponibili anche tavoli all'aperto nelle terrazze sospese!

My wife and I dined here on the second night of a three night trip to Siena after wandering around three or four restaurants that were fully booked. It was truly an amazing find with a varied menu. Both the food and service were very good indeed. In fact at time of writing we have been across five cities in Italy and the lamb here was the best I tasted. Both food and wine reasonably priced. Would very much recommend a visit here

Located on the main street (Via di Citta), this restaurant offers a more modern dining experience. Our server worked with the chef to servie us a green salad that was actually not on the menu. All the dishes we ordered were wonderful (we did a combination of appertisers, pastas, chicken).

Definitely a restaurant to try.

Put simply, this was the worst meal of our 4 week holiday in Italy. The service was terribly slow and rude mannered, particularly when we demanded the bill. A wait of 1hr 10 minutes in total for a small plate of cheese and two primi dishes is simply unacceptable.

For the food, well the cheese board was poorly presented and minimalistic would be a generous term. As for our pasta dishes, the wild boar ragu was bone dry and tasted overcooked. I wanted to laugh when the manager insisted olive oil would save the day. Seriously?! Later that evening i enjoyed the same dish at Hotel Athena, which was much better quality. As for my partner's food, well that was even worse. Stone cold pasta in the middle and surrounded by a luke-warm tinned tomato sauce that could have taken 15 minutes to prepare, yet took in excess of 45 minutes!

Poor all-round.

The restaurant is, like the rest of Siena, located on a steep hill. They have created cozy outdoor seating "platforms" to accommodate diners. Since it was a warm summer evening, we were really happy to be able to get an outdoor table here.

The food is good, the wines are plenty and the waitstaff is attentive, enthusiastic, friendly and speak rather good English.

A short walk from the Il Campo car park towards to the city centre heading towards the Duomo. Some outside seating but a very modern and cool setting if you sit inside. Friendly and attentive service in English if required. We enjoyed the strips of beef steak with artichoke and the grilled chicken with potato and peppers. Washed down with some glasses of local Chianti and finished off with a peach cheesecake and almond mousse with chocolate sauce. Moderate price for a great meal and good location.
