What a great find this was! While unprepossesing from the outside, the hotel itself is charming, and the location is perfect for exploring the town. Our visit was duri;g the holidays; there were low-key and tasteful decorations throughout, which simply added to the charm.

We were upgraded to a room overlooking the garden, facing west. Our room was good sized, with a comfortable king bed, a large bathroom with rain shower, ample closet space, and a lovely view. The breakfast offerings—breads, fruits, juices, coffees and teas—were ample and tasty. The staff was gracious. We were about a 5-minute walk from the Duomo, with the Piazza del Campo a few minutes further. The area is quiet and safe.

We couldn’t have been happier with this hotel. I highly recommend it.

Charming rooms, friendly smiles and service, and an off the beaten path location make Palazzo Ravizza an ideal place to stay. A simple walk to all the action is near enough to the hotel, but being away from the crowds provides a sense of calm. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a modern, glitzy hotel maybe you should try somewhere else. However, if you value old-style European charm and are looking for a low-key, stylish and central location to stay in comfort, then this is the place for you. Situated just within the city walls in an old palazzo building a few minutes walk from the centre of Siena, with easy car access and its own on-site parking it could not be more convenient. The highlight is the beautiful garden terrace with a breathtaking view towards the Tuscan hills where one can linger over breakfast, enjoy a glass of wine in the evening before (or after) dining in one of the many local restaurants, or simply sit and relax. The staff are helpful and discreet. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is air-conditioned. The rooms facing the rear have views across the countryside similar to the garden terrace, while those at the front overlook the street, though this is mostly quiet and the higher floors overlook the rooftops of the neighbouring buildings.

Lovely peaceful place with such nice personable staff and huge rooms all traditionally decorated. Comfortable and warm( winter!). The breakfast is very generous and the salamis delicious , laid out as a huge buffet..The small bar has very nice wines too and is open round the clock.
Choose a room looking west. The view to the hills over the very attractive garden is amazing!

We booked 2 rooms for a family trip with 2 teenage grandchildren. Both rooms were large with very tall ceilings and modern bathrooms. There is a beautiful garden with free parking below. The location is within the walls and close to all sights. We have stayed here 2 times within the past year and will definitely book when we return.
