Hotel Chiusarelli is a charming old manor now used as a hotel. It has lovely marble floors that speak of old fashioned luxury. It is also very well located, a few minutes’ walk from the center of Siena but yet accessible by car and Taxi (right at the limit where traffic restrictions start). It is quiet and comfortable. The only issue some people may have is that it has no elevator, so it is necessary to climb stairs to get to the rooms… A minor inconvenience considering the quality of the accommodations. I would recommend it and would also stay there again next time I visit Siena. The breakfast included with the stay was good value and excellent quality.

Room tip: The back of the hotel faces a street with limited traffic, so rooms facing the back are quiet.

Beautiful hotel with nice gardens surrounding it. Our room was large with a big bathroom. AC worked great and the bed was comfortable with good pillows. The location was perfect. We enjoyed breakfast everyday. Can’t wait to go back.

We enjoyed our stay here and the hotel is nice. Room was large, a/c and wi-Fi worked well, great location and pretty nice breakfast room. No elevator, but that was not a problem for us.

As mentioned in the title, the hotel's best point is it's location: five to ten minutes to the center of town

Great location, terrific staff. Beds are a little firmer than I like, but not terrible. Bathrooms clean and functional. We were in the front of the hotel, so some street noise until 2300, but not bad. Breakfast was good, but not fancy. As others have said, lots of stairs and no lift so plan accordingly. Would definitely stay again.

The only thing lacking with this hotel is an elevator. I struggled getting my heavy suitcase down the stairs, but as soon as the receptionist saw me, she ran up to help. Still, I would guess they lose a lot of elderly/handicapped clientele. Another possibly negative thing is the proximity of a concert venue and nearly constant traffic. There were concerts both nights I was there, but I enjoyed listening. And when I wanted quiet, I had only to close the extremely effective windows, which block 99% of all noise. This hotel had a very large and varied breakfast spread, wonderful lunch fare, and a dinner restaurant with delicious selections.
